If your problem persists I have a Snap On Ethos scan tool...
Snap-on Diagnostics: ETHOS Scan Tool
We can take a look at a lot of things to see if there working correctly....
Let me know bro..

Thanks Wiz! I have been borrowing a co-workers scan tool and just left it in the back seat.

BTW it is your fault that I have not gotten to the bottom of this or finished my power steering flush. I saw your cleaning your garage, and I had fianlly had enough. Started ripping everything apart last night, so I won't even be able to reach some of my tools til the weekend I bet.

Makes sense a bad connection would throw it off! Hope that's all it is and it's a cheap fix for ya!

Right, I checked Ford Parts and it is between 88 and 100 dollars depending on the O2 sensor. I can get them cheaper than that if they need to be replaced.

I am thinking, pull the sensors, inspect. Hit the connectors with contact cleaner and di-electric grease, clear the code and see if it comes back

I tossed in an Airaid air filter I picked up from Chris at Freedom last night, jumped in the truck this AM and the CE light is off.... I don't think the issues is resolved and will let you know what happens when I have a chance to check the O2 sensor.

Idle was pretty rough this AM though, then smoothed out after it warmed up some

Just had this happen today with 7400 on the clock. Did you ever find a solution?
