For comparison, these 6 were just removed from a 2012 3.5 ecoboost with 180XXX total miles, but spark plug miles unknown. I'm keeping the new ones at the .028 gap that Fordtechmakuloco recommended. The reason they were removed is due to a P-side turbocharger coolant line leak. To get to that coolant line fitting, (hidden by the turbo), you must first remove the swaybar, so you can get to the starter, and reach underneath it.. also, you then reach behind the block, at the firewall, to remove the coolant line, and 8 tubes later, the turbo itself. By this point you've already drained motor oil, the coolant, & removed the battery. The other coolant line fitting at the front is tied to an oil cooler line bu ng on the front of the block. (Ford cleverly made that fitting round, so you cannot use a socket to pull it off and replace the turbo oil line filter), meanwhile, the T47 torx bolt you must remove to get the lines off is blocked by the ac compressor. Still following? Ok, So now to remove the compressor, there's those 3 bolts that have to stay on the compressor (because they run into the frame when you loosen them), ..plus you have to remove the AC to crank stretch belt, and to replace that fuc ker, it helps if you pull the plugs so you can spin the crank with one hand and keep the belt on the AC Compressor with the other, while lying on your back getting a coolant bath.

The fitting on the right side is round, impossible to put a socket on like the D-side hex fitting. The oil line/fitting/filter is hidden behind the ac compressor. This stuff makes me so happy to own a Ford.
