Are you sure you don't have a "surround" or "stereo" option on the same page as the treble, bass, midrange page? Did you scroll down? It should be at the bottom of that page, and I would have thought both systems had it.

Either way, you should either change that center to an 8ohm speaker, or, if you're sure you're not getting any automation guidance from it, just disconnect it. But I would try all three and make sure you don't rob yourself of a feature. Try the Sync, Alexa, and OK-Google/Siri automation and make sure they aren't coming straight from the center.

Having a center channel doesn't automatically destroy the sound quality, as represented here. Its function, with the proper processing and tuning, is to provide better imaging for more than one passenger. When integrated properly, the results can be pretty amazing.

With that said, it sounds like you'd be better served by simply disconnecting it.

Thanks. I'm not against a center channel in theory or correct practice. I think the issue is one of trying to match/complement what the B&O system is calibrated for when upgrading, and that's hard to do because of the dearth of information out there. I've received no response from Ford or Harman/B&O on what the crossover points are, etc.

Based on that, I will likely just leave the stock speaker there, where it will be even less impactful with a front speaker upgrade, or disconnect it. If I had more info on what type of input it's getting, I'd be more inclined to try and upgrade it. What I don't want is an intended upgrade that actually makes things worse.

I'm going to leave it until I upgrade the door speakers and see how it matches, A less sensitive db speaker would work, I saw a 3.5" Rockford fosgate rated 85 db, I think that would make up for a increased volume switching down from an 8 ohm speaker, and possible match the doors. The pioneer speakers in the $500 upgrade thread are about 88 or 90 db which would be much louder than the 85 db, so might match.

I think what you want to be careful about is putting a 2-way in there...the stock is is just a paper mid driver, and adding a tweeter is definitely going to change the soundstage/imaging, especially one that is not impedance matched/with higher sensitivity.
