Catastrophic failures in Gen 3 front ends due to improperly seated bearings.

How many people have had their Gen 3 front ends fail? A possible recall could be coming soon. If you feel any popping or hear any noise that’s irregular, take your truck in to get checked out. It’s been covered under warranty, but make sure you get it there before 36,000 miles. Very long process, and an even longer story, but the failure was not related to any mods or driving style. I know some of you had your front differentials actually explode, but I don’t remember who. This problem took a while to become noticeable. For me it was shot 10-15k miles before I knew anything was wrong. Check this out!

I see a galled bearing race, but this stuff just happens. Certainly not Raptor or Ford specific.
