GEN 2 Carbon fiber shift handle difference Tow vs DM ?

The one that came with my truck has the word tow on it. A new carbon fiber one that i saw on summit performance and alot of other places has the Letters DM on them. Will these function the same? I think the 2019 does not have this button on them. Mine is a 2017. Trying to find out before i order one.

From the research I've done they're the same, I also read you can swap the button from your old shifter to the CF shifter if you want it to say tow instead of DM. Haven't done the swap yet but I'm planning to do it soon
