I've got like 4 ft sheet of this stuff and don't know what I'm gonna do with it. It was left over from wrapping the FORD on the grill... This could be a use for it! Good idea! looks great

Pointless on a off road truck

Not necessarily, as saving weight helps offroad, desert style that is. Don't have much experience in other venues, but i can't see it hurting there either. But, there's lots of things to be done to save weight before replacing with carbon fiber becomes the most cost effective. Tires and wheels, stripping the interior, removing bed, etc.

Yeah but why carbon when you can run fiberclass like all throphy trucks do plus saving weight on a 3.5 truck is not going to help much.

Ok **** i got rigids to help me solve that problem. And windshield tint on a offroad truck? I rarely use sun glasses when im driving up against the sun. So why be a ****

Btw op said carbon like he has on his mb an porsche.... Yeah saving weight on small cars and making it look cool.
On a truck imo ita pointless. Carbon wrap do as you wish but carbon parts umm ya.... Did you know my oem plastic svt side vents weigh as as much or less than my carbon fibre svt vents... Solve that

He's not even attempting to cut weight... he already said they are stuck to a piece of stainless and he just likes the way it looks. Believe it or not, carbon fiber doesn't have anti-gravity properties.

i did this a while back when i first got my truck, instead of a plate that i stuck on, i used 3m 1080 vinyl wrap to wrap the pillars and reflectors on the side view,
