Car Wash Options

I'm still that way. I can't stand having a dirty car, especially when it's new. So much so that when my house was being remodeled, I had them make the attached garage into a "car wash garage." It has vinyl walls and an exhaust fan to deal with the moisture. The problem at the moment is that the Raptor is so big that I'm going to have to clear everything else out of the garage just to be able to move around the truck to wash it.

That's awesome! I'm making plans for my next house, and plan to do something similar to this. So handy for autos, ATV's, boats.....no more excuses for being too cold! Get that stuff clean!!

I took my '17 SCREW through the Wiki Wiki Carwash in south Charlotte the other day and it turned out great. No damage and it did an excellent job. Plus the name of the car wash is fun to say.

I always use a high pressure wand wash, takes 10 minutes to get the truck clean, and then I use an Absorber rag to wipe it off after I'm done. Owning a black truck last I've never had it get clean enough going through a touchless automatic.

Anyone that doesn't remove this 1/2 mile long whip antenna before going through an automatic car wash deserves a $6000 repair bill. I'll steal Dave Ramsey's name for it: Stupid Tax.
