Maybe this is something that can be enabled with a program like forscan?

I enabled many option like remote window roll down and enabling folding power windows from the remote on a 16 F-150.

Would be nice but will not hold out hope. Controls like the diff lock normally are tied deep into the system and not easily changed on programming. Hell no one could find a way to get the Front Camera to activate other than the stupid modes ford set for it. Most useless thing in the world.

I figure once Walter has access to a 2017 he will take a look at the wiring and see if the connector is the same. They probably will also throw a scope on it to make sure its the same signal if so could possibly use the same setup we have for the Gen 1 to activate the locker any time we want

I'm bummed to hear about this, but the only times I engaged the rear locker on my 2012 Raptor was when I already was in 4wd. Still, it sucks to lose that option. I run my SxS in 2wd locked a lot.

Toyota Tacoma guys posted a way to hack the TRD Off Road locker as it can only be engaged in 4wd Low. It's supposed to be an easy mod, I'm not sure about the details though.

The mod/cheat doesn't work on the new generation of tacomas but you can buy an ARB air locker for the Tacoma and do whatever you want.

Nothing listed on ARB site for the new Raptor yet.........

On the Ford videos they do seem to get fairly sideways so maybe it's not that bad.
I never turn off the nannies on my 911 Porsche Turbo and they don't intervene until I get pretty far out there. I try to see if I can get out there but not so far as to get intervened by the nannies. It's kinda fun, plus I don't have to worry about totaling my car on an on ramp loop. Maybe it's not that bad. I know the Toyota one with the new Tacoma is way too controlling, at least that's what is being said on the Tacoma Forums.

You can get an ARB for the Gen 2, its the same as the Gen 1 in the rear. Just its alot of $$$ and I am not sure if it will integrate properly with the New modes (and if it does not will it throw codes/CEL's)

At least on the 911's the Sport mode is like Off road mode on the raptor. Sport Plus is even more track oriented and only will have the PSM come on when you do things like lock up the brakes. Have to say driving the 911 in Sport with the PDK is the most fun I have had with a vehicle that was not manual. Made me wish I could order the mustang with a dual clutch. Unfortunately we got our 911 C4S just before they added the Paddles on the wheel so stuck with the wheel buttons. One day maybe will spend the $1k and order the paddle wheel

From M - "Does the tune activate the locker in 2H?"

When I was talking to the FP rep i brought this situation to their attention.
Iam sure they all ready knew it.

Is that implying that they will address it?
