Mudblood - did you get your Raptor yet? I know it needed some body work after it showed up at the dealer. Just wondering if you have gotten to enjoy the beast yet.........

Yep the body shop did a fantastic job. Already done plenty of mods and don;t have 500 miles on it yet. Really a nice ride. I thought it would be a bit rough compared to my 2013 Limited F 150 but damn if it ain't just about as smooth. He just got in a Ruby Red and darn if that thing doesn't look sharp. Frankly, I expect any color would sell great but Black has always been and will always be my favorite.

I don't know if you have seen the Terrain in person. It's a very interesting color...kind of a dull satin finish that will be so easy to keep clean. I am in the love the color fan group but there are plenty of folks who don't like the color. To me it looks much better in person than in a photograph.

I think you got that survey wrong. It;s "women prefer black men in pick ups".:perkinswhatever:

Yea but everything tastes better on a cracker..so...

changed my order from a scab to a screw today

so for invoice I'm getting a base Terrain screw with spray-in bedliner

mods to immediately follow the day I get it - a fine tint job, wheel spacers, factory graphics from designs n signs (possibly the older mud style on the bed), and blacking-out as much as possible (wheels, skid plate, heads/tails), 55w HID bulbs and ballasts for the halogen housings

then soon after - mid perch, methods, Nitto trail grapplers, factory HID's, ADD venom, light bars.

and when the warranty is over - whipple supercharger

:D

Might want to add the "raptor plus" package. Love having the backup camera.

But, most importantly, you picked the right color

What is the consensus on the factory bed liner? I deleted mine since it isnt UV protected, but it would be a lot easier not to have to deal with after mkt. The other thing is i understand is they spray all the bolts etc, but the after mkt they are removed first...still on the fence though.

I emailed my guy and had him remove it. I just read about someone experiencing delivery delays and their dealer said it was due to the bedliner and conditions not being optimal in the area for application.

added the plus package due to the added size of the crew and desire to trailer my car/bikes to track days in the near future

If anyone is interested in spray-in liners, I would highly recommend finding a local Line-X dealer and have them apply what I believe to be one of the finest and most durable spray-in liners available. Like has been stated already, they even remove the bed bolts and securing hardware before application. Ford doesn't even do that. The finish on mine is impeccable and the lifetime warranty against any damage cannot be beat.
