Can’t fill fuel tank past 30 gallons

I understand that, it’s just odd that there seems to still be 3 gallons or so of fuel left when you get that low. Ever since DTE became a thing makes the issue, people like to take it all the way down. Back when I first started driving, fuel light comes on, you got 25-50 miles. Get to the pump.
The Raptor fuel tank is very long. Park it on even a modest hill with less than a quarter tank and it may not start. So FMC pays for a tow truck and tech time under warranty. Bad deal for Ford. Fuel pumps that suck air tend to fail earlier. Bad deal for Ford. So even without user stupidity it's expected that "empty" isn't even close. If you want to push it, just figure out how yours is calibrated and drive by mileage. Or by miles after the light comes on.
