Have you tried a leak down test, also maybe some sort of carbon cleaning. Fist do the leak down and see how much leakage and where it’s going. It will be in one of three places. Exhaust you would hear the air escape the tailpipe. Intake, you would hear it in the intake plenum or tube going to the air filter. Or three in the crank case. For that one pull the engine oil dipstick and look carefully for smoke coming from the tube. This is usually an indication for a bad or gummed up ring. The others are more likely valves and I have seen camshafts in some engines crack and have the same effect. Hope this at least gives you some direction in where to go next. Lastly have a block test done to check for a blown head gasket. Good luck.

I had a similar issue with a jeep never do auto zone again . Did you properly use dielectric grease ? And the way it was intended? The error codes can be misleading sometimes and send you down a wrong road . I would start the basic trouble shooting from the beginning of our known gremlins. Message me it’s a little long if you want. Don’t get me started or the ford techs or service centers .

I once used aftermarket coils and still had the odd error code. Put the old Ford coils back on... problem went away.
