Camburg Long Travel Kit

So I’m in the market for a suspension on my 2019 SCREW.

I’ve narrowed it down to going with Camburg or SVC.

I understand Camburg’s LT kit consists of the Fox LV 3.0s...

I know SVC and other mid/LT and obviously race suspensions do not use the live valve for finer tuning and less room for technological error.

I’m curious if those of you with the Camburg kit have run across any issues with the 3.0 LV shocks.

Especially those of you that really beat the truck off road.

just fyi, I too looked into a Camberg LT kit. Was talked out of it by a pretty reputable Raptor upgrade shop. They installed one on a customers truck and said it drove like shit. They ended up taking it off and tried it on another Raptor, same deal. They talked me out of it. The Camburg kit does move the arms forward 1". maybe that has something to do with it, idk.

I have the svc kit. In fact, went out to Johnson Valley with them yesterday for shock tuning. I can’t recommend them enough. They’ve built dozens of trucks and know what they’re doing. Customer service is fantastic. I know I sound like a shill here, but have zero incentive. I researched and was quoted by H&M and camburg before going svc, and it was pretty clear they were still in the r&d phase with their kits and I wanted something proven.

Doing 80+mph passes with no drama after dialing in the king bypasses. Suspension could have gone faster but the engine was tapped out.


Landing was so smooth from this little jump that I didn’t even know if I caught air.

Long travel kits are amazing off road, not so much on road. I imagine that's why SVC made the mid travel. Best of both worlds, or best compromise

What is the downside on road? I have zero driving experience with long or mid travel suspension.
