The service advisor said....we just flush the fluid......we dont do the filter.

WTF......the 10 speed is an explosion waiting to happen. all the things I have read or watch show the filter is just gross at 60k miles. and the book says lifetime fluid.

anyone else have any experience with transmission fluid and filter service ?PAC AmpPro AP4-FD31

I had my fluid and filter changed at mine a year or so ago, felt like pulling my hair when they kept suggesting a fluid exchange

Cost a pretty penny but they did it, shifts a lot smoother

Was $270 labor at an independent shop. Brought them the fluid, filter, grommet and had them install the B&M pan with the drain plug for future fluid drain & fill. I measured the fluid level before taking it in and gave them photos so they could put it back exactly the way it was before the job. No issues whatsoever and I’ve towed 1K miles since.

With my last Raptor, I had the dealer do it(brought my own stuff) and they overfilled it 2x. First time caused it to blow the pan gasket, the second time it just puked out the vent.

The dealer saying they only flush is probably just trying to avoid you coming back after they mess it up post pan drop.

You gotta get off the internet. Ive never seen or heard any issues with the 10spd until i came to this forum. All the trucks out here are 10spd autos.

dropping the pan is easy. while you are in there, switch to one with a drain plug bolt to make the job easier the next time.

I've not heard of any common issues with the 10 speeds either.

I'd guess nearly all the failures are the electric shift solenoids going bad as well, which changing the fluid will do nothing for.
