Also, appreciate the feedback everybody. Just annoying because I was set on the leadfoot but last minute the dealer said they would not let me get it shipped to me so then I went with the 19 Magnetic and it’s been delayed almost two months lol what a pain

He's only two hours away, why not go get it? I thought a two hour drive was nothing for Californios. ;)

No he was 26 hours away, the shipper left from Cali, then when he was 2 hours away his tranny went out so he could no longer pick up my truck

Sounds crazy to me to buy two trucks just because you’re impatient about the first one.

It is crazy. I’m going crazy too. Two weeks now without my Raptor and no eta for my part. I tried to convince my wife that she needs a sporty new car right now but she’s stubbornly refusing to cooperate. I’m thinking about buying a used muscle car so I have something fun to drive while I wait. If I keep it a week I’ll break even vs renting something fun. It is insane, but I’m sick of the cars I’ve been given while they fix my truck. The Flex wasn’t terrible, just really boring, and the burning oil smell when I got out reminded me of my Raptor, but the Ecosport has no reason to exist other than to torture people who like cars. Like one vulture said to the next, “Screw patience, let’s go kill something”. I say go for it. It’s only money.

^ Haha ya it’s impatience for sure. And regretting not just getting the leadfoot 20’. Will most likely just wait but also calling the dealership tmrw about the leadfoot to see what kind of deal I can get on it. So we’ll see what I end up doing

Confused. Are both new trucks at the same dealer? If so, offer them a grand to make it happen.
I doubt you will break even on selling the new one. One would assume others in CA could find the same deal and have it shipped in?
I was wrong once though...

Haha. You? Wrong? Never. Ya I mean not everybody is willing to put in the work and get the best deal. Took me a couple months to find this one and negotiate it down. Like I said Raptors in Cali are very high priced. I agree it may be slim that I get 71 for it but for Cali I think it’s still a pretty good deal. And in some states there’s no sales tax. So somebody could save there from buying private party from me.

They are different dealers. The leadfoot is in Idaho. Same one I was originally set to get.
