At least CA doesn’t have the yearly ****** money grab car inspections. To me that is worse than anything CA does.

When did they do away with that? Emissions testing? Is that gone? Our vehicle inspection here is from free to $20. Most mechanics/dealers do it for free when you get a service of just about anything. It's mostly to keep the cars off the roads in the winters that shouldn't be on the road.

Cars purchased out of state need to show the sticker that it’s CA compliant.

I think we are saying the same thing but using different terms. When I said 49/50, I was referring only to the way it reads on the sticker CA looks for.

it needs to say California and federal. California will not accept a federal only sticker.

What you're saying is a moot point though. All F-150 (including Raptor) are CA-certified, you'd never see a 49/50 on the Raptor.

Go read what you said. You said your truck is 49/50 meaning it isn’t emissions legal in CA. This is 100% wrong.

I know what I said and I know what I meant. I think you need to reread what I said and posted. You’re inferring something I didn’t actually say. My sticker says federal AND Ca which is what CARB looks for when registering an out of state car. I literally posted the link to the Ca dmv which clearly says that as well.

Ugh. I know that. I posted the link to the Ca dmv. What I said, or tried to say was, the CARB looks specifically for the sticker under the hood that says Ca on it as shown on the sticker from my truck and as the dmv shows as well.
