Stock tires wear is typically for 42k miles. You can get a used set sometimes around the $800 mark.

My bfg's were gone at 25000. I have a 2010. I would avoid anything that spent time in the northeast. The salt in the winter is very bad on everything. Especially the shocks. They are not coated well enough for it. Low miles in Florida is my vote

Personally I wouldn't get either and keep looking for exactly what you want, with lower miles. It might take longer but eventually you'll find it. First thing to do is decide what you want, color/options/motor/ ?? Figure out how far you're willing to travel and then start searching. It took me several months to find mine but in the end I’m very happy. First I just looked at them all, then narrowed down what I had to have; a 6.2 was a must (5.4 no thanks) I didn’t want the SCREW, had to have low miles, I wanted the navigation system and the sunroof and it HAD to have low miles. Color wasn't too important so once I knew what I did and didn't want I hit the internet and after a couple months found one 3 hours away. A 2010 SCAB, white, 6.2, every option possible (except the decals which I got off eBay) Rino liner, only 25k miles and since it was from a Ford dealer they put brand new BFG’s on it and it's still under warranty, all for 38k . Don’t jump on the first one you see, wait for the one you want.

Agreed. But I think he wants to be in one yesterday.

I can understand that. But It'll be better to wait for the right one than just jump on the first one....like women, might have to jump on a few before you find the right one. :ROFLJest:
Seriously, the most important thing is low miles and then it having what you want it to have. We're not talking about a couple bucks at WalMart. You're going to have to live with it and the payments. Big payments are easier to pay if makes you smile everytime you drive it and not pissed because you settled for one now.

The low mileage 2010 SCAB is the one I want, in fact, I bought it today but haven't taken delivery yet.
6.2l luxury package 42k miles for $36.5k. No graffix no sunroof. Traded in a 2004 dodge ram Laramie with 65k, truck is all rusted out on the bed and underneath, they gave me 8k and i was plenty happy with that. Have to wait till next week to pick it up, truck is 3 hrs away.
