I bet you could use a air oil catch can. Bet ya that you'd see some oil in that thing. Your engine might be pushing the oil out of the PCV Valve. I'm in the process of fabbing up 2(one for each side).

It is not common to lose that much in that mileage range. However, some vehicles do develop what the manufacturers consider acceptable levels of loss (generally 1 quart every 4-6K miles). This is mainly due to the PCV system rerouting crank case pressure back through the intake to be burned in the cylinders. I would recommend the "Raptor oil catch can" to help in eliminating the issue, especially if the analysis comes back good to go.
