That looks very cool. Would like to see it after cord management. How did you secure radar detector, velcro?

The radar is mounted with a RAM magnetic mount. It comes with a metal plate that you adhere to the bottom of the radar detector and the place it on the mount.

Did you not reinstall the rubber mat under the builtrite mount? I'm still on the fence about getting one. I usually toss my wallet up into that cubby and I worry the mount will get in the way. I wonder if I could reverse it's direction of fitment.

I installed the rubber piece under the mount. I would do the same thing again.

Looks good. Can you add those ball plates after the builtrite is installed? And do you need the backing plates?

It would be difficult (not impossible) to install the 67 ball mounts afterward.
Just not enough room to work with after Builtrite mount install.

Would it be possible to have the bracket flipped around to the back?? That looks like it would still allow you to drop stuff in the cubby (if needed). Not to mention the arms look like they can be adjusted in length so that could help.
