We are in a heat wave here so we built a small pool in the backyard for the dogs and us to cool off, even though the lake is really close, we deduced to build it redneck style for the next 2 weeks with temperatures between 100-120f. Can’t even take the dogs for a walk in the daylight the pavement is too hot!79DC35B0-F91E-46E7-BB27-EA3EB153B617.jpeg95237486-315A-46CE-91C5-56EF9DC172E7.jpeg1C723414-4C74-4676-A11A-A3EA47D9729F.jpeg

Rednecked all the way
We threw it together in a matter of ten minutes, even just walking into it, it cools a guy/gal off. My sons GF is a little on the hefty side and overheats easily, so she will lay in there and splash water on herself. Sorry she wouldn't allow me to post a picture of that, bahahaha.

Hard to believe its hotter there than her in North Carolina, only gonna get to 90 today
Yes, we regularly can get to 100 here in the summer and a couple degrees higher but sustained temps over 110 for a week is rare, yeah, we keep breaking records everyday now.

LOL! We just flush with fresh water and it pours downhill to the garden area, so at least there's no waste of water.

This was what I was thinking when I told a plumber I wanted to install a toilet in the backyard without a waste/drainage piping. But alas, apparent that's not 'up to code'.
