Oh yeah didn't think of the non OEM parts. Thanks

I don't want to be un prepared but also don't want to bring my whole garage with me. So trying to piece most common tools into one container.

After having my incident at RTF, I'll be doing the same. I have a buddy with a full fab shop and I'll build me a bed rack eventually. What are the large plastic totes you guys are using? Is there a way to lock them? I would have my recovery gear, first aid kid, shovels, recovery ramps, my HILIFT, spare tire (1 or 2) to mount and im sure more.

I believe i'm going to stock up on rear axle shafts seeing as how thats the only thing I've ever broken. Well... Besides my power steering pump but that was before my RPG ps reservoir. No problems since.

It's so easy to rack up mega bucks on having a fully equipped bed with recovery gear, tools, and spare tires. I mean 1 wheel/tire is around $500 plus mount/balance. Then you have to buy/build the rack. Anywhere from $400 up in materials or easily over $1000 for a pre-fabbed one. If you look at recovery gear, just getting enough plus spares can run up to $500... Tools, everyone already has tools but securing them so they dont rattle can cost ya too.

What do you guys line the cases with to keep stuff from rattling? I hate rattles.

I use Rubbermaid Action Packers 24gal. Somewhat hard to find... But my local Office Depot had them for $34.99 with an additional $10 off coupon so I picked up two.

Easy to lock? I bought a bunch of locks with the same key to lock those babies and also my swinggate.

It has to be pretty full if you strap them down or else the sides will crumble.

Rattle Reducer? I used packaging foam. Like the ones you can slip an iPad into .

Use the same but the holes for the lock is small so have travel combination locks. It just plastic. If someone steals it, then it easy to break in to. I have a roll-x with security mod to help keep people out
