GEN 2 BUILD DATE TO DELIVERY: Fastest turnovers.

Ordered mine Wednesday 1/4/17. Was just told I should get it July or August, but could be sooner. Pillowsoft did they say when you would get yours?

No, They said it should be 6-8 weeks to build but they haven't given me a date of when the build will start..


Fun little story, there was a dealership in Albuquerque that I was working with and one was put up for sale, as soon as I got the Email it was for sale I jumped in the truck and headed to the dealership, about a 2 hour drive for me. unfortunately 15mins away from the dealership the salesman called me saying they sold it. I was pissed to say the least..

2 days later on a business trip I called a different dealer and they had just opened up special order allocations. Thats when I ordered mine, I was able to spec it out too!!! but now the waiting begins....

Im staying optimistic hoping for a February or March delivery.



I don't know what I'm more excited for, the new raptor or turning my current raptor into a toy supercharger and rouge suspension

Pillow I was in the same boat. My local dealer had a black SCREW for $5k over sticker. I will not pay anything over sticker, so I called every Ford dealer around me for miles trying to find one for MSRP. I finally found another black SCREW for sticker about 2 hours away from me, but it had graphics and bead locks ($3k worth of stuff) that I didn't want, plus I am wanting a white one. I finally broke down and ordered the second to last allocation my dealer has left for sticker, no mark up, but now have to wait. I've got a good feeling about it showing up sooner than July/August, I think they just said that to be safe.

Vince I was thinking about that on the way home the other night. New model years "usually" come out early fall of the current year. Let's say I didn't get the truck till July/August I'd get screwed out of a whole model year. I wonder at what point they would change the build from a '17 to a '18?

I ordered a Lightning Blue SCAB on Friday 1/6/16. Order was submitted yesterday by the dealer cause I originally ordered a Magnetic Gray but changed my to the blue Friday night.

They said 8-12 weeks possibly more. I've been reading posted stating 8-10 week turn arounds so I'm keeping my hopes up for early March.


When should I start checking up for the VIN?

Curious as to how the region of destination affects build to delivery time. I have a scheduled build date for this Tuesday 1/10. I also ordered the factory bed liner. I live in Northern California. I'd like to know how the bed liner application and west coast delivery will affect delivery time. Window sticker states that it will be coming by rail. Has anyone had the factory bed liner option with a west coast delivery (or maybe even a southeast delivery of comparable distance) that can share some info about delivery time?
