Build date of 4/17 when will I realistically get my truck?

If I have a build date of 4/17, when can I realistically expect to see my truck? The lease on my current car is up on 4/1, but they are letting me extend it up to 3 months. Obviously I'll need my current car for April, but it would be great if I could turn my lease in on 5/1 and have my truck just before/shortly after and not need to pay for another month on my lease...

It's hard to tell. Depends on shipping. Mine was 12 days from build day to dealer lot. But I've heard it could easily be a month also.

My guess is 3-4 weeks from build date.

I could work with 12 days. That would be awesome. I'm in Rhode Island and my dealer is in MA.

They're telling me 3.5 weeks from build to delivery. Well, I guess I should say they "were" telling me, as now, Ford won't give me a build date, except for "April, and that is subject to change....". Originally though, they quoted me 3.5 weeks from build to delivery.

Is yours an ingot silver? Because mine is, and my build date is 4/17 as well. Wondering if they are running silver through the line on that day.

My dealer is also in New England, so our trucks will probably be on the same rail car (you in RI right?)

Yes, Ingot Silver here. That would be funny if we're being all held off together for that. My build date was March 20. Then they moved it to March 31. And just yesterday, Ford is refusing to give a specific build date, instead saying, "It looks like your build date has been minimally shifted. It is planned for early April now, but, again, that is subject to change." So, who knows. All I know is that it's been way too long, and I'm a rope that is frayed to the last few sinews of fiber. And if it was the same build date as yours, I'd be pissed, because that is not early April!

Sucks about your wait man, sorry. But that does make sense, if they are grouping paint codes together on the same line.

My build date was originally 3/28. But I asked the dealer to change the color and add/delete some options (order was originally dealer stock) when I paid a deposit on 3/10, so Ford pushed out the build date to 4/17. I was just glad that all the changes I wanted took.
