I went with this option, and I have a photo of it installed in my build thread.

I considered the adhesive only option as well, and I really like the low profile appearance. Since I had a good experience with a similar deflector on my Sport Trac, I opted for the WeatherTech.

Installed bug shield. Form fit, no space in between guard and hood (flush mount). Can't see it from inside the truck.

yes, 3M tape along the top, bottom and side. when applying make sure to keep pressure on the guard until the adhesive has had a chance to bond correctly
