Never heard of them do tell all I've ever used is shackles with my Bubba rope. Bubba Recommends Shackles here's the chart from there site.

Shackle Size Pin Dia Weight(lbs)
Lil’ Bubba
1/2" x 20'
Breaking Str: 7,400 lbs 1/2" WLL: 2 tons 0.63" 0.72

Bubba
7/8" x 20' or 30'
Breaking Str: 28,600 lbs 3/4" WLL: 4.75 tons 0.88" 2.35

Big Bubba
1-1/4" x 30'
Breaking Str: 53,200 lbs 7/8" WLL: 6.5 tons 1.0" 3.62

Jumbo Bubba
1-1/2" x 30'
Breaking Str: 74,000 lbs 1" WLL: 8.5 tons 1.13" 5.03

Extreme Bubba
2" x 30'
Breaking Str. 131,500 lbs 1-3/8" WLL: 13.5 tons 1.50" 13.53

CAUTION – the soft shackle are NOT recommended for dynamic recoveries. So I may have mislead you, and that is why Bubba is recommending the use of a solid closed shackle.

Here are the soft shackles:

They are easy to use and will keep the vehicle being recovered from any shackle scaring.

I checked with my supplier.

I can do these for $155 each, plus actual shipping. I'd say no more than $10. Shackles are the same price. US made shackles, may not be crosby though.

If you're in at $155 reply to this thread. If I get 10, I'll make the order a go. I'll probably order 3-15.

I'm assuming these are 7/8 - 30ft? I'm in with two shackles.

Okay, guess I'm set with shackles. Still in for the rope!
