I would be in for one. Unless there is a great reason to get two then count me in for two.

My guess is to just leave them in 2 separate vehicles.

You'd be better off with two soft eye shackles. Much safer for this style of recovery.

Never heard of them do tell all I've ever used is shackles with my Bubba rope. Bubba Recommends Shackles here's the chart from there site.
