How is it hooked up to the alarm ? I have a train horn .unfortunately alarms arent as useful as they used to be. people hear it and think nothing of it. they wont even bother to stop their conversation. one of the reasons i have a train horn on my truck is that its tied into my alarm system. set of the alarm and the train horn goes off. with 10 gallons of air, it will make noise long enough for the thief to shit his pants. i was in a store and some guy hit my truck while parking. everyone near the store entrance were looking around wondering where this insanely loud horn was coming from. they saw me coming out to my truck where i saw the guy who hit me. i confronted him about it and the idiot said he didnt know he hit my truck. luckily he hit my tire since it was slightly turned right and sticking out an inch or two from the fender and running boards. but it got the attention of everyone in the parking lot and in the store. also, i have the viper smart start gps unit. with the viper app, it gives map location, gps coordinance, speed, heading, and being able to refresh it as many times as i want. heres a snap shot of what the viper looks like. this is just the map info.

The Emily Morgan Hotel was ok, even with street parking.Oh, and San Antonio hotels are a crap shoot. Might as well leave the doors unlocked.
i have the viper 5906 alarm system. the siren wire output is a positive trigger so i ran it through a relay to boost the amperage. then just ran it to the relay on the train horn. doesnt make noise on arm and disarm, but when the alarm gets triggered, is exceptionally loud. i have the katrina train horn. How is it hooked up to the alarm ? I have a train horn .
Embassy suites downtown near riverwalk has a Raptor friendly garage and optional valet parking. Pre-china-virus it was a good place to stay. Post china-virus it’s average. The Emily Morgan Hotel was ok, even with street parking.
Well here I am in San Antonio and spent the night last night just to wake up and notice that my Ford pass had a "door opened" alarm message. Go out to the truck, and yep, it was broken into. I'm just surprised as to how little damage there was and how easy it looks it is to break into the truck. Doesn't even look like it would be worth claiming the damage on the insurance. anyone have the same happen to them? Looks like pulling the door handles and shoving a screw driver behind the cylinder and popping it back unlocks it.
