Broke my rear fender off road, solutions?

Hey Raptor Guru’s,

I think I pushed my raptor a little too hard this weekend. Tilted in the air , mid jump and hit the ground pretty hard. No damage but some bolts popped out of the fender and it cracked open at the bottom.

Truck bottoms out pretty hard when it lands, I was wondering if anyone knew of any upgrades that would help prevent this from happening again?

I know I need to relax with the off roading but ... what would help?

Deaver springs? Bump stops?

I keep thinking about how you almost didn't take delivery of your truck because you were worried that it might have been abused on a joy ride. Too funny. You better get some bump stops on there before you bend your frame.

Definitely a bump stop kit, and these trucks aren't meant to be jumped off tall buildings or across the grand canyon, fyi, lol.

Deaver springs? Bump stops?

Good to see someone out enjoying the truck.

Bump stops/frame reinforcement kit should prevent it. Lifting the truck will lessen droop, so unless your increasing travel its best to keep the ride height close to stock. Droop is good for catching air.

Check your bed to cab alignment to make sure you didn't tweak the frame.

That reminds me that I actually do need an alignment , I hold my steering at a 20% angle to keep straight sometimes.

I have a stage 2 on my raptor, using RPG kit. I have very slight rub, not like what you are seeing. It will help for sure. I would check out the SVC kit if you tow. I would have gone that route looking back
