Brake Upgrade Project (Pics/Results)

Decided to upgrade my brakes after the originals (~70k miles) needed to be replaced. Went with StopTech Extreme Performance Rotors and matching Pads. Also went with the SDHQ stainless/kevlar lines. Went ahead and painted the calipers while I was at it.

This was my first ever DIY brake job and I initially thought I had bitten off more than I could chew (perhaps a simple pad only replacement would have been a simpler first experience), but at the end of the day, I couldn't be happier with the results. The brakes have a much better feel (smooth throughout stopping delivery) and I can certainly feel a difference in their responsiveness (thanks to the upgraded lines). I would recommend this upgrade to anyone.

Are those SVT a sticker or did you use a stencil and paint those on?

How was the install of the SDHQ Kevlar lines? Are they longer in the rear?

That looks good. Though I believe you are missing a tennis shoe, or were you using the shoe as a hammer....

I installed the SDHQ lines about 2 months ago. The install was really easy, just figuring out where all the clips that came went with it was puzzling. There are no instructions with it, but once you get in there you start to get the picture pretty quick. For some +2013 models the rear lines are different.
I believe they are fairly close to the original length, if any longer it is just by a little.

Ditto on all of this. Spent about 15 minutes on each of the first front and rear trying to figure it out. Once you figure 1 out, the rest are a cake walk.

When I first finished up (before the wheels went on), I thought I have gone a bit too far with the 3 stickers on the front calipers, but given my wheel design/pattern, you only actually see 1 "SVT" at any given time/rotation.
