I originally did the same when I bought my 14 now the 19. I fold the seats up and he's got lots of room to spread his 120 lbs out!

Dogs can be a little particular. Henry Tudor will jump right into the Rap with the seats up, but not seats down. He won’t leap into a peasant car, peasant SUV or peasant minivan either. Yeah, he’s gotten a lot spoiled for sure. Henry likes to stretch out, so he prefers both rear seats up, or... he’s going to climb the center console to see what’s going on. Never mind nothing is going on.

Honestly, I think the Rap has to be the best “dog” vehicle ever.

Hunting girl.
She knows it's an upgrade from he last one lol
Hey this is a new idea! Now if I tell my wife that since we don't have Raptors for the other 2 dogs.......
Welcome and congrats.
FYI with the rear seats up you can fit 3 hounds in there easy.

I have a big (80 lb) Austrian shepherd and he rides in the back seat. I made a flat foldable platform out of 1/2" plywood and wrap it with a vinyl cover for ease of cleaning. The platform used up all the space in the back seat area with the back seat folded down so he could have all the backseat space to himself when we're out. The back seat has a slight tilt on the seat portion so I used swimming noodle to level it out. When the weather get cold I wrap it up with a cheap blanket that i picked up from your local Goodwill at $2.99. He love it since he could stick his head out of the rear windows and really enjoy our outing together. I also made a 1/3 size incase my kids wanted to come along and they all could fit in the back seat. DSC05507.JPGDSC05510.JPGDSC05511.JPGDSC05512.JPGDSC05513.JPG

Any issue getting in/out of the truck? Mine has no issue jump up to the floor level, especially when he uses the side step, but seat level is more of a challenge. Is this something you get setup once he's in the truck perhaps?
