Thks for the reply. I currently running 42 in front and 40 on the rears. I have tried a lot of different combo for air pressure.

In Mexico (the roads are shit) i ran 36 all around and it made big difference.
I forgot to answer about the e's, no i haven't run them. I had cooper d's before the ko2 and the ride is similar

Try lowering your tire pressure. Makes a massive difference

Fact. The E has a three layer polyester sidewall where the C has a two. So yes the E is "tougher"

Please post up the source of this fact....

How about a sidewall pic from a 315/70-17 C? Or just read what it says in the little box...

The tirerack info is not on bfgs website, and is a pretty blanket statement. The bigger sizes are different running lower pressures than the smaller sizes for the load range. Normally and E tire has a max of 80, except in a 35 or 37 where it is 65psi. The blanket doesn't work there either. So no more tri guard sidewall? Just two plies on the C rated tires? What a ripoff....

Got it back today.

They replaced the hub assembly, planetary gear and thrust bearing.

Shifts perfectly now as far as 4L. 4H was not a problem.

Do i need to run it a few yards in 4l in a straight line once a month like the old systems to keep it in good working order?

Also according to Fords legal dept and tire experts, the C rated are perfectly "safe". They spent several days checking.

I am sure it might reduce load capacity a bit and soften the ride but i am not inclined to complain since i got brand new wheels and tires on a used example.
