GEN 2 Boomba BOV Valve Install - Motor Not Making Any Boost

Put this BOV on no issues with the install, all is good. Truck ran well and functioned correctly for a mile and then the truck stopped making boost and now i have CEL. Any help would really be appreciated as naturally, I have a road trip tomorrow.

Put it back to stock and sort it out after.

One of your hoses is not clamped back on

i bet the electrical plug isnt seated

so the retainer clip that is shaped like a star seemed loose, it was a ***** to get off and then it went on with a lot of play so i put a hose clamp on it. The clip doesn't keep the tube connected to the intercooler rock solid but it does prevent it from backing off as the points if the star locks the tubes together. Hose clamp kept coming loose. The star clip still has some play but the truck is making boost now and driving normally.

Still have the CEL but not too worried, I'm thinking that it just needs to be reset.

Driving this truck around last night with no boost was beyond depressing.
