No flaming here please, I'm not talking about a cheap 3" body lift for looks.
I'm thinking a vendor may make some money by selling a QUALITY 1" body lift for a Raptor.
A 1" body lift should allow for 37" tires in many cases without the need for new glass fenders. I like the look of the stock fenders as is, and the cost of properly fitting and painting glass fenders is pretty high.
Back in my rock crawling days I had a 1" body lift on my Jeep TJ that used aluminum pucks and grade 8 hardware- it gave me the extra clearance I needed without making the jeep look funny or sit too high overall.
I think a 1" Raptor body lift will clear a 37" and also provide a little more side step clearance as well.
I have not seen a 1" lift that could be adapted to work on a Raptor, but if there is enough interest I'm sure a vendor could be persuaded to create one.
Thoughts on this? Let's keep it civil please.
Thanks

Btw - I love the "no flame here" statement. Lol... don't worry, we are the new accepting, softer, loving FRF. Lol....

I believe Ready Lift only makes the generic F150 2" and 3" body lifts.
I'm usually up for a good argument, but I've seen enough threads derailed by flaming. I'd like to see a serious discussion of the pros/cons of the 1" body lift concept.
Outside of that, I hope FRF hasn't become too soft, I generally enjoy the combative exchanges!
