Black, Atlas, and Antimatter - Picking 2022 Color

You guys convinced me. Atlas looks too uninteresting in pictures. The Ford site makes it look a little turquiose but it's really just blue. I like the idea of black but it hides some of the trucks shape. Looks like Antimatter is how I'm ordering.

Getting ready to place an order. Got a dealer who will do it at MSRP for me. I had a 2018 in LeadFoot and loved that color but it's not on the manu for 2022. Everything I've seen suggests Antimatter is super dark in most light conditions. Black on black is a cool look but I'd like a bit more pop. Never seen one in Atlas obviously but it looks interesting.

Since I'm totally on the fence I'm thinking I'd go with the one that most people would want, so it has better resale.

No need to rush , you have plenty of time. Ford just shut raptor wholesale down for the month of February. You’ve got 12 months to think about it.

I work in auto and Ford dealer clients (no incentive to BS me) are indicating it's a 3-5 month wait, not 12.

My friends owns a Ford store. Even with allocation you are 6 months + right now.

Fingers crossed that improves but it is what it is if so. It was 4 months when I ordered my 2018, so a little longer under current conditions isn't too bad. Dealer told me to leave off the tonneau cover because it might hold up the rest. I'm guessing there are a lot of factors that come into play.

Super dark colors aren't my favorite. So black is out. As is antimatter blue. Atlas is what I ordered. Oxford white also looks good with black accents.

Rapid Red is pretty nice but I might be biased…

Just left the dealer and I wanted antimatter blue but not liking the blues as much as I thought. Going to get black or silver now.
