Hmm, I took mine into the sunlight and it's even worse. Doesn't match the Raptor and F-150 emblems at all IMO. I can't imagine any scenario in any natural light outside that anyone could possibly even make out the Ford script unless they were 1 ft away. It just looks like a ********* oval.

I contacted them in the hopes maybe they made a mistake. Thanks for the help, though.

I can't even tell. Their pictures on their site are all over the place. They have two designs that are both "satin black powder coat" and they look completely different (see pics). Not impressed with these guys at all.

If anyone is interested in buying mine to avoid having to wait on the backorder let me know. I'm exploring buying a raw aluminum one from them and getting it powder coated locally so I'd like to avoid fighting them on the return of this one. Trying to get back my cost of $130. Let me know!

Big thanks to @photoneffect! I ordered one of the badges and was given a 2-4+ week lead time. Luckily, I was able to grab up Photon's badge. He shipped it out and it arrived today. It was in perfect shape and well packaged.

Install wasn't hard. I just used a hair dryer to heat the badge for 3-4 minutes, taped around the edge of the badge and then used a plastic pry/panel tool to pry it off. I tried the fishing line trick they described in the install instructions but because of the two posts alopng the side and the multiple clips, you can't get the fishing line to the adhesive. I just pried and pushed the panel tool pretty deep actually peeling the adhesive away.

You peel the badge off, clean the remaining adhesive/sticker with Goo Gone, wash the Goo Gone off and then I hit it with the IPA.

I didn't really want to bolt the ting to the tail gate so I just screwed in the screw posts as guides and then stuck the thing on.

Anyone make a Carbon Fiber rear emblem? I put Rappy Graphics stickers on my F150 & Raptor logo in Carbon and think they look awesome on my black truck... Looking for something to compliment it but not sure I want to put a decal on my OEM Ford Logo from Rappy...
