How much do u suppose this setup weighs? I've contemplated this for awhile but after helping a buddy tote his at Snoball, to be realistic for my wants it needs to be comfortably light. Does anyone has weights of winches capable of moving our beasts? Idk maybe a vendor has that info...

P.S. Everythings looks badarse!

Thanks Dan. This Winch/Winch Cradle combo weigh exactly 69 lbs (I put it on a scale for my own edification). As I stated in the write-up, if I got the same winch but with steel cable, the combo would have been 100 lbs. I'm an old man, so saving 30 lbs was a no brainer via the Synthetic line, not to mention, it's so much easier to work with during a recovery.

Send a PM to Roger @IRONMAN at RSI Works a vendor here. He sells a bunch of different winches and can give you options.

I set a $1,000 Budget for myself that I was able to keep. That included all the parts/equipment listed above along with 3 Smittybilt Snatch blocks and 3 Tree Saver Straps.

What amp fuse did you use?

Welcome to the world of winches. Be sure to check out my winch maintenance and upgrades thread.
In fact I'd like a link to your setup added to that thread.

Off topic but didn't you have a Retrax previously?

Good eyes Mark. Yes, RIP @ Rise of the Phoenix.

Thanks Joe for the thread link. It was a great read and super helpful to anyone with a winch. (I love the sharpie every 10 feet idea!)
