See the little bike clamps on the tool box of my old 150?
You can mount them to the front wall of the bed. The front wheel comes off and the fork clamps in.
They have adapters in case you have the new through axle hubs.

I use the 1UP rack. It works perfectly. I have the wider platform and arm needed for my fat bike.

Question about those pads for the tailgate. Do you have to have something inside the bed that attaches to the bike? I can't imagine the bike stays in place by being laid over the bed pad.

The bikes stay in place pretty well. Just keep them off the bed rails and separated from each other. No need to attach to bed.
