BFG KO2 Tread Life Warranty Claim

I get 45,000 miles out of mine with some tread left. Could go more but I replaced them when the cost is cheaper. Proper tire pressure and good alignment is key

I'm sure driving it like it's a Prius also helps.

I wonder if there really were just batches of KO2s that were softer. My alignment was always good on my Gen 2 and I kept pressures around 30psi year-round (updating seasonally for temp). I assumed it was because I drive aggressively and most of my miles were windy country roads, not highway. Could be I just had two soft sets.

I run at 40 psi. Lower the tire pressure the quicker they ware. Ofcourse I deflate for off road but 90 percent of my driving is highway. A guy I work with got an actual letter from BFG and told him to run higher pressure for longevity when he complained and found out to be true

Interesting. On the Gen 2 I preferred the recommended pressure on the door or lower. The back end was jumpy over road bumps when the pressure was higher. Hopefully the Gen 3's coil suspension will improve this and higher pressure will be a good option.

I never go off of door. Thats just ride comfort to me. I go by usage. And what the tire manufacturer says for usage. I appear to very good Tread life. I have never complained

At Raptor Assault they actually recommended we keep the tires a little below the door recommendation, even on the road. They pointed out that dropping a few PSI really helps with rear hop over bumps and I found that to be true. I'd rather ride/composure over tire life personally.

I hear ya. Its all personal preference. Its a Truck, no matter what you do its gonna ride like a truck. Its all what ya use it for also. Me carrying loads etc 40 is what works for me and I have longevity but sacrifice soft ride but handles better on bends unless there is a pothole in it. Lol
