I waited 9 months for my Raptor Sick Hid's ! I agree Brian's customer service sucks. No updates unless I requested them and then he has the nerve to send me the exact same generic build pics that he sent to someone else on this forum.
The lights were badass though. So badass that a thief ripped off the whole truck from my driveway Weds night. I hope I like the '13 Hid's as much as I liked the customs.

On a POSITIVE note, and if anyone is interested, I reached out to Brian to get an update on my lights. He responded as he has in the past fast and professional. I really do not want to get into any argument, or start a thread of negative arguing, it is just to to say that so far my experience with Brian has been very positive and he seems extremely knowledgeable, creative and professional when I have spoken to him.

On a personal note, I would caution all of us not crucify a vendor for possibly one or 2 bad experiences. Stating the issue and concern so all are aware, but keep the negative attacks to a minimum if not removing totally. I view these forums as a means for us all to share ideas, experiences both positive and negative. it would be disheartening if the forum becomes a soap box to harpoon a particular vendor....in my life I always see that there are 3 sides to every story, mine, yours and then the truth which is somewhere in the middle...very rarely is it one sided.

Just my 2 cents...

That's all fine and well but when you've had FOUR (4) issues with your lights within the first SIX (6) months; there comes a point and time when words don't do anything.

You can communicate good intentions and sound like a real professional; but until you act on those communications and prove you stand behind what you say - they're meaningless.

I have actually posted several times defending him and his work. I really like his lights and the quality of his work however, that being said, I stand by my critiques of him and his customer service. I find this forum to be valuable for both the good and bad reviews and value the candid input from all the members. I do not see anyone on here simply piling on and bashing him for no reason. Don't confuse honest criticism with negative attacks.

As I have said before, he is a classic victim of his own success. The reason he is having so many issues is due to the very fact that he is so good. If he sucked, he wouldn't have a huge backlog and this wouldn't be an issue.

I waited forever for mine, but I have had Zero issues with them and still love them as much as I did the day I got them. He will be doing the lights on the Harley Fat Bob that I get next spring and I am prepared for the wait

BEWARE: SICK HIDs - CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE!

"I ordered and paid $1,330 being the full payments for the headlight for my 2007 honda cbr1000rr to Brain of sickhids in April of 2012 and he told me that the headlights would be ready in about 12weeks and this was the journey of my life. He would pick up his phone and we would talk before i made payments to him but after i made payments to him he was so busy that i never spoke to him on the phone again. 12weeks(3 months) past, 4th month no word or date of completion, 5th month same, 6th month same story. He became evasive. I live in Nigeria and ordered from here. My sister lives in Los Angeles and my brother in Colorado. I had to contact my members because he became so evasive that i thought i had lost my money to a scam. My brother and sister had to intervene in order to help get brian of sickhids to fulfill his end of the transaction. He got angry and was very rude to me and my family member in the states at that point my family members in the state, who are into business consultation, then told me - this is a small time one man business and he is very unprofessional about business management but he has a hand work which is not very special and i should pray he will delivers because if he doesn't, all he has to do is just change his name and my money is gone. After much pressure on the 7th month brian of sickhids sends me a picture and a video of my head before he sends it but to my greatest surprise when the headlights came to me in Nigeria at the end of November, he sent me a totally different package. I asked him why he did what he did and he was extremely rude to me because he feels i can't do anything because the headlights are now in Nigeria. Please i paid a huge price and lost money dealing with brian of sickhids. We have our bikers national convention in October every year and i was promised by brian of sickhids that i would get my headlights before that date. I spent over $6,000 on my bike, without the price of the headlights, only to be disappointed my brian on the day of the national convention.
I will post a complete thread of my my email on the internet and leave it open for anyone who chooses to deal with this person to do that at their own risk as this is not a professional business ma. All he has is a hand work and if he disappoints you could loose you money if you are in the position you have no one to fight for you.
This is the link of my finished headlight which i never got but got somethingelse. Brian of sickhids is a scam because anyone who show you something and after you make payments sends you another thing is a SCAM. Please be WARNED"

Well, after sending my ballast in for a new one (fourth issue since May); my other light just went. Fifth time I've had to pull lights and put stockers back in since May.
