I would never recommend putting HID's in a non projector housing. You will blind everyone on the road unless they are aimed at the ground, which, at that point they become useless

Return them. Save some money and get some decent lights. There's vendors out here. No offense if you buy crap it's usually crap.

But they look sooooooooooo cooool damnit hahha my recons have a projector and actually cut the light pretty good pattern looks almost identical to stock 14' hids but hids in stock 10-12 halogen housing no bet would really **** people off ha

You could probably get the lights to work with a good H-13 wiring harness from TRS. It would eliminate the battery drain issues but you'd still have subpar lighting.

Thank you ARH! I'll try the H-13 harness. No complaints with the light output when it is working. And the halo bars illuminate the road quite nicely. Just getting this issue worked out will be the kicker...

You know, I'm not looking to spent $500 to $1000 on nuisance headlights that I might have to replace because they're ticket magnets. What I'm hoping for is a sensible DOT legal upgrade that doesn't cost a freaking arm and a leg.

Adding HID's to any vehicle that did not come with them from the factory isn't dot legal. No matter how you achieve the hid headlights.
