Had one on my Gen 1. Strange things started to happen after 6 months, including going into limp mode. Pulled off on the side of the road and shut the truck off and back on again. It was ok?! Other weird things started to happen after that. Pulled the Pedal Commander and issues disappeared. I've had if off for 4 months and issues never returned. I believe it works great, but when it goes sideways it effects the computer in strange ways...

I had one on my 18 for about a year and then it started going into limp mode after about 30 min of driving. It would put truck in limp mode even when it wasn’t in use. Removed and never another problem. IMO not a good mod for your Rap.

I've heard this happen in the past, turns out things weren't plugged in correctly. That being said, I had one and I hated it.

Yup. It happened to me as well. 2017 Gen 2. Hooked it up and it worked fine with no issues at all for several months. Loved it. Then one day, ****, limp mode. Shut off the truck, turned it back on and it was fine. A few weeks later it happened again. I gave it one more chance and a few days later it happened again. After that, it came off and hasn't been on since. That was about a year ago and I've had none of those issues since I removed it. Mine was not an amazon knock off.

I have the Banks Pedal Monster and it has safeguards that prevent limp mode. If it detects parameters out of wack somehow, it will just default to stock. It has defaulted back to stock several times for me which is a minor annoyance, but I just open the app and less than 10 seconds later, I have it back to my preferred setting for throttle response.
