Hey guys! Just wanting to wrap up the lighting on the truck at this point. The last place that I could use some lighting would be for the underbody. I know they're typically referred to as "rock lights", but wasn't sure where it would be recommended to place them. I would assume one at the top of each wheel well would probably be plenty? Leaning towards maybe this kit from BD:

While I am a firm believer in buy once, cry once, I have 3 sets of amazon rock lights for less than the B/D lights, including the Rap with these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0CDP8KQ2G/?tag=fordraptorforum-20

I have a set on my side by side, which gets bounced around quite a bit and on the Rap.

For the wheel wells, I put one LED front of the wheel, one rear on each side, a couple in the rear by the spare tire, 4 on the running boards; 2 on each side
They’re plenty bright for what’s needed, not huge, don’t draw much current and have held up fine.

if you go with the B/D lights, you probably won’t need as many as they no doubt much brighter.

We've always had them pointed at the hub. It makes a huge difference during a tire change or doing trail repairs at night.
yes. i have lights in front of my front tires as rock lights and lights in my wheelwells that light up the area if i need to change a tire or do suspension stuff in the middle of the night. also have led strips that light up my entire undercarriage. i can do work under my truck without a flashlight if needed

I remember back in the '80's, where it was normal to carry a ridiculous 2ft long flashlight and need a 3rd hand to hold it while changing a tire. Now, I've got 4 of these, one in the garage, one in my DD, 2 more in the house.

Not for nothing, but the Rodney King light still has its uses.

Lux makes some cool lights. I've had some as puddle lights on my other truck for years. They're nice 'cause they're magnetic.

Yea, I know the BD ones are expensive, but I will say that size of light vs output is usually way brighter on them then cheaper items. That's my reason for leaning towards them. Thank you for the link to the thread to see where you placed them!
