Best Raptor Compliments

Best question was if my rig had the adjustable suspension option. I tried explaining but he assured me that's what the upfitter switches were for. 4 shocks, 4 switches, makes sense right? Just flip the switch and they get firmer. Said I might have it drive a few miles to feel it.

Hahaha. I'm not sure where the hell this comes from. I've heard it several times (maybe not specifically in regards to the upfitters), even heard it from a raptor owner before. "That's what the offroad button is for! It adjusts the Fox shocks on the fly!"

I'm no expert on the Raptor when compared to others on this forum, but I am when compared to about 99% of the general public. Love it when someone tries to tell me all about the "cool" (and mostly mythical) things my Raptor can do. Had a buddy last week try to tell me that the raptor came with a v-10 as an option its first year. Hahaha

Convoy of 10 to Snoball and at a truck stop yesterday, the girls behind the counter were pounding on the window saying "take me with you" and truckers kept mentioning the raptors on the CB. It was pretty cool.

Was at my university's football game trying to find a parking spot. There was an old HEB that had closed down so they were charging $5 to park. I was the 2nd car in line when I saw that they were waving people off and telling them it was full. I pulled up and they guy said.. Nice truck... Park anywhere you can...

Ended up at the old right side entrance.

During the tailgate, I had to run back to grab some stuff out of the truck, and saw my parking neighbors admiring it.. They said, oh we decided we would protect it. Chevy owners too.

Three in the last two days. First, girl working at the gas station (fairly attractive) couldn't keep her eyes off it and talked to me about it for 5 minutes. Second and third was at the airport while I was dropping off the wife. One of the airport employees walked up and said "Now there is a truck!". Then I was letting a guy walk across in front of me and he stopped dead in front of traffic to say "Nice truck!".

Friday at work I was going through getting the truck checked out by the bomb sniffing dog so I could go to the loading dock and the police officer bragged to me about MY truck the whole time. I basically just stood there nodding while he rattled off spec's.

And no mention of the adjustable suspension switches LOL

Lots of comments this week. At the car wash, this lady really liked the color (blue flame). Guy working at the gas station was all over it, saying how much he wanted one. And another random guy in a parking asked if I wanted to trade for his Ford Focus.
