Well I pulled into a gas station tonight and there was about 20 trucks parked and the owners were all hanging out shooting the shit, when I circled the lot and the heads started spinning my 14 year old son said " Dad, you just shit all over them!"

I came through the base gate this morning, and the Security Force Airman goes, do you take it offroad? I looked at him and then I stuck my head out the window and looked to the back to see rear covered with mud and looked to the front to see it covered with mud, and then looked him straight in the eyes........., and I said "NEVER".
The young Airman fell out with laughing & dropped my ID card, and then pick it up & handed it to me and said, Sir, I love your truck....

Best compliment I've received was from my wife....let me explain. When we were looking to replace our foreign made SUV, we were on the back of the Ford lot looking at new Expedition EL's...they were very nice and domesticated.... On the way back to the showroom, I spotted a black Raptor SCREW and asked to go see it. It was INCREDIBLE, I was lathered! I then asked my wife if she could see herself driving a Raptor....to which she said "HELL YES!" Game over, I love this woman!

Do I miss the extra covered space the EL would have provided????

My wife drives an Expedition EL primarily and I drive the Raptor primarily. The extra room in the Expedition comes in handy, especially when traveling with kids, and it rides like a dream but the Raptor is so badass. When we're all going somewhere together and I tell him we're going in mommy's truck, my 3 yr old son almost breaks out in tears. His response: "I don't want to go in Mommy's little truck. I want to go in the cool, cool Raptor."

I was at a mates house the other night having a beer, His 5 year old son was tooling around the terrace with a toy monster truck - i said " thats the same as my truck!" he said "in your dreams old man" I handed my keys on the table and pretended to fall asleep - my mate at that point said " hey son look , Ewan must be dreaming - go and have a look outside and see if his truck has appeared" - so his lad went outside and sees the truck outside - he was almost wetting himself with excitement - after he calmed down he mentioned - the best thing that awesome truck needs i sa real set of wheels like my truck

I was killing myself- apparently he hasn't stopped talking about it - Result - Young Lad Happy !

Best compliment I have gotten is a woman's phone number left on my truck at the mall....twice.... the wife was not a happy camper. Notes immediately confiscated and disposed of by her.
