Best psi for fox 2.5 bumps?

so if 200psi is too harsh then why does it come with 200? Under which circumstances would you need 200psi?

Also it seems if you do not want to bottom out then you would keep it at 200 and that lower pressures would make it bottom out. Please educate me.

I think 200 is the magic number because its not going to bottom unless you jump off a cliff or something. At 200 I've slammed the crap out of mine and still had travel to spare. So I'm thinking selling them at 200 is a one size fits all type of thing.

Agreed. I'm pretty sure most people with bumps don't adjust the pressure. The ones that do were probably advised to because of their particular setup. I have very stiff leafs and an additional 1" (actually closer to 2.5") in the rear now.

I'm still running the stock leaf springs so maybe that has something to do with it. I probably need to just email RPG about it at any rate.

If you only had the stage 2 and left the shorter pad on the bottom of the bump make a difference?

With the stock shocks, lower sitting national standard springs, I bottomed out my bumps with 200psi frequently off road. When I switched to icons the compression was too aggressive so I let all the nitrogen out of them and worked my way up to 125psi were they sit now. Seems to work good.

Keep them at 200, when that axle is going to max out that bump stop you'll really want to slow it down and save frame as much as possible. It's only got a few inches to cushion the blow.
