I don't believe I've ever seen a 20' Raptor before.

Also, this topic has been discussed a million times over. A simple search will pull up all the information you're looking for.

What are you planning to do with your lifted Raptor? Circling the parking lot of JCPenny's or planning to use it as it was designed for?

Looking to lift my 20 raptor. Can anyone share their experiences and products used.

One of the big selling points of the Raptor is it's suspension setup. When you do a typical lift like you would do on other trucks, you're negating the benefits of that suspension So generally, people think lifting a Raptor isn't a smart idea.

The exception would be to modify the suspension itself, rather than a true lift, resulting an improved suspension (or improved for purpose) with an extra inch or two of lift. Front springs and new leafs in the rear.

Having to deal with lifted raptor's that come to our shop to get it removed, its expensive to undo. The ones we see are from Rough Country, Fabtech and BDS mainly. All of them require you to cut part of the frame off and if you ever go back, you will need a custom crossmember made. You will spend more than what the kit cost with labor to remove unfortunately. If you could care less about any of that and plan on it being a street queen and hope you don't have to do any invasive maneuvers (like avoiding an accident), then go for it. When you ever decide to finally take it off-road and want to travel at a decent speed through the rough stuff, you will wish you didn't.

For those ever thinking of buying a lifted raptor and have plans to remove it, avoid if all possible.

Pure butchery! It’s your money and it will be a tall and wide coffee getter forever. Read around the forum more and you can draw your own conclusions. Probably enough was outlined here. Keep a Raptor a Raptor.
