Yes I am happy lol and what do you mean this isn't the government it's ford? Lol corporate espionage can be way more ruthless than regular espionage and you're nuts if you think manufacturers don't cover things up, just look at some of the forced recalls.
It's not in the best interest of Ford to release damaging info on an engine combo they are trying to convince everyone is better in every way.
Foutz has a pre-production Raptor and it's bound to have an issue or two. Electrical gremlin is pretty vague though. Did the A/C stop working and the smell of ass was enough to stop the race? Just as logical as Ford making a statement that the engine was shut down to prevent another Chernobyl.
I've been following Foutz for years and I doubt anyone can state he is not a stand-up guy. Fact is though Foutz knows where his paycheck is coming from and its in his best interest (and I'm not blaming him) to say publicly what Ford wants him to say. Everything else is just rumors.
The Gen2 Fanbois will defend the Raptor no matter what because they have been living vicariously through Ford talking points for months now. It's all they got and they are more than happy to ignore the simple little true fact that the Raptor did not do as well as everyone expected of it.
