The Lomax is water tight! It seals well. I can wash the truck and spray water directly at the seals and it holds up very well. No external lock. It locks underneath and can be opened once you release the tailgate. It’s a very clean look.

I'm down here too. I've had the Retrax for a few months and through all this rain it has held up well. And I know you said you didn't plan on putting anything much in the bed but you never know what comes up.

Weather tech

I have seen the WT cover on their website, but you are the first one to comment on it. Do you have one? If so, how do you like it and do you have pictures of it on your truck?

I have used their floor mats for years and I recently bought a couple of their phone cup holders which seem to work well if your cup holder is in the right place in your car.

save your money. bought this on amazon for half of what the other vendors are asking. simple set up, quality build and fast shipping. im not affiliated with them but wanted to rep a product that really works well for a fraction of the cost. plus i live in seattle - no leaks yet!

We are going to soon take delivery of our Raptor. Residing in South Florida it rains frequently. As such, I wanted to get a hard folding tonneau cover. Requisites are that its completely waterproof and that it add some level of security. I doubt we will be hauling too much in the bed to be honest. I ordered the bed with the spray in liner. Thank you.

I live in RAINY WA. State,so looked for same when I bought mine...I dont think any cover is 100% waterproof,except the one piece ones.
After a month of research I went with the LO-MAX....(Weather-Tech is the SAME cover,its made by Lo-Max,rebranded and $$ added to price)...so my vote is the Lo-Max...Have had mine on for almost a year...I was **** about installing it (took all of 40 minutes)...and only small amount,very small amount of water that enters is at the rear tailgate....its not bad,but in heavy downpour best to make sure your stuff is upfront more...Have never had any water on the sides or front...and its rather easy to take completely off so you have full bed use,unlike the Bak-Flip where you have to drive with 1/3 of it up against your back window....

Thanks, that is good to know. I already have a Bakflip F1, but I may try something different on my next truck.

My Bakflip can be removed completely with two hand tightened knobs, so I think it is pretty easy to use.
