Best custom muffler/set up

I realize it added little to nothing performance-wise, at least compared to a cam or headers, but my Magnapack sounds awesome to me. I know a muffler doesn't make it a trophy truck... but this one sure makes it sound like a trophy truck. And that puts a smile on this face, especially when passing jealous minivan drivers that cut me off.

Any video clips?! I may gothis route as well since I want loud but not straight pipe loud lol

I don't have any video of it. Videos don't really do it any justice.

The Magnapack might as well be a straight pipe. Here is a picture of the "inside" of the "muffler."



It is pretty loud. As loud, but better sounding, than open manifolds. The noise can be managed by moving the muffler and exit point further back for less droning. Don't get me wrong, I love it. It's just loud.

I run straight piped on mine. 3inch pipe back up and over the axle. Sounds monsterous!

haha Thats me on your comments asking so many questions.

I've changed my mind on exhaust once again. A friend of mine is doing a custom exhaust for me.

Magnaflow muffler 3" single in dual 2.5" out
Lightning side exit.
Resonator delete
Stock tips

He's a pretty good welder and wants to mess around with it. I'll post video when it’s done. Next Saturday hopefully.

Part number 14419 is the 3" magnapack.
