Does anyone know of, or used a bed rack which would be capable of mounting skis, snowboards, and possibly wake surf boards? Was thinking of trying to get something fabbed up similar to a wakeboard/surf rack on a wakeboat where you could just slide them in and either clamp them down or strap them. Looking for ideas...

I'd probably use a base system that allows easy side mount access. Leitner Designs Active Cargo System or RCI Metalworks bed rack come to mind. If you're more into something like the Thule above you could also check out TracRac.

Then for the board mounting the "finger looking" locking universal snowboard/ski carrier from Thule would be a good option. Or chop up the Yakima HitchSki and mount it up.

Good luck and be sure to post pics of what you do.

Sounds like a broverlanding rack that mounts to the bed rails would work

Broverlanding is the best A-bro-ham lincoln. Nothing I love more than shredding with my brahs Teddy Brosevelt. Hucking into some Gnar Gnar this weekend Broseph Goebbels...

I have the American Work Jr with the rack rails and a Yakima basket...let me know if you have any questions.

The Jr looks pretty small, but I suppose it is better then nothing... Got any side photos from a little more distance? What do you carry in yours?

Nice, I decided to go with the full size box on mine. I ordered it with the Yakima rails and 4 risers and 2 cross bars. The only feature I added to the tool box was an interior light. Be about three weeks before it arrives.
