Just wanted to share the price quote I got for the Speedliner installation.

Curtis,

Cost for a bed your size would be as follows:

Spray Bed liner for a 5.5 foot bed $395.99 + tax

Color Match $85.00 + tax

Over the top of sides $80.00 + tax

In regards to bedrug, is there a better brand vs others? What should I expect to pay for a bedrug installed?

Not that I'm aware of; BedRug is sort of *it* in that field.

And I'm not sure what could be "better", anyway. The quality of the BedRug is obvious when ya get up close and personal with it. Its truly a first class product.

If I recall correctly, I paid $380 for mine from 4WheelParts.com. And they installed it for free when they did the G4.

Hope that helps!

Yeah, thanks. I had to Google "SAPI" to find this out...

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

SAPI ceramic plates
The Small Arms Protective Insert (SAPI) is a ceramic plate fielded by the US military. It was first used in the Interceptor body armor, a bullet resistant vest. It is now also used in the Improved Outer Tactical Vest as well as the Modular Tactical Vest, in addition to commercially available "plate carriers". The kevlar Interceptor vest itself is designed to stop projectiles up to and including 9x19mm Parabellum submachine gun rounds, in addition to fragmentation. To protect against higher velocity rifle rounds, SAPI plates are needed.

And ESAPI are Enhanced SAPI plates.

Good thing the military doesn't use many acronyms :D

Nice to know I was once protected by Line-X, ceramic and other stuff. Glad I had bunkers.

I was the Acronym Control Officer in my last Squadron Dan. Shoot them to me and I will decipher them <G>.
